We had some good nights out in Blackburn in the early 2000s as the group got bigger and bigger and bigger until we had around 20 people out on some nights. John was always out with a Carling in hand - but think we all drank Red Pig in Barlife for a while(?!). The nights usually got going when we hit The Borough and Blakeys going the same route every week. I've no idea how we ended up balancing our shoes on our heads but the photos exist so there must have been a good reason. We even survived our first friend's stag do (Dave Leigh) in Blackpool in possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It seems like such a long time ago but excellent memories.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
